Still Winter in Ohio

Boy Bets, sounds like they want some "payola" there to allow you folks to do business with the locals. Think you just gotta grease their palm?
Still winter here in Ohio, we went out for breakfast this am and then over to Stu and Sara's new place that they are painting and cleaning after the renters moved out. This is one side of a duplex with Stu's Mom on the other side so it will be easier for them both for Barb taking care of the dogs when the kids are at work.
Then tonight we went to David and Lisa's place for chicken slop sandwiches. The Akron gang was down. We went out to the barn and I bottle fed one of their newest goats, about a week old, here's some pix.
Bank story
You guys are not writing much. Must be you are all freezing. Today on the weather they said there was snow in 49 states. I see JAX was 35 deg!! The whole Southeast must be freaking out.
Wanted to tell you about going to try to set up a business account at the bank. We had all our ducks in a row, corporate book, etc. They asked for our business licence and we handed it over. "Oh, this isn't right. It has to have a blue border. This is a copy." Went around the corner to speak to our atty who helped transfer the corp from MI. She was adamant. The government emailed all the licenses in 09 and ran out of blue ink. Bank should accept this as an original. Back to the bank - no deal. Downstairs we come and there in line is the atty's sec.(West Indian) Bev wanted to know how we made out. Still no, i tell her. She marches upstairs with me to the supervisor's office who called the main brance in STT and they said no. Needless to say, we will not be doing business there, even tho we have both savings and checking accounts there. This is sometimes a crazy place to live!! Most days, tho, I just want to say... aaaahhhhhhhhh.

We've Been Sick
Sorry for not writing in a while. It's Sunday afternoon and Kathy and I have been sick with head colds since Tuesday. We went to the Doc on Thursday and Kathy has been off work W-T-F (that's days of the week, not "what the f..." Bob)
We got blasted with snow Friday night, but today is sunny and beautiful even though we have 12-14" of the white stuff on the ground. Here's some pix,
I just got back from going to show one of my empty short sale listings, the drive is 300' long and was not plowed of course so it's a good thing the 'burban has 4 wheel drive.

reunion trip -DONE!!!!
Turned it over to Bob who has points on American. So, for $118.00 we are leaving STT on March 31 (April 1 booked) and returning April 7. don't have the itinerary yet. Very oddly, I met Bob back at Skinny's around noon after my meeting with Ms Wells (principal) and found two books to bring with me - one is a book of Welsh stories, the other a book for Kathy. Kind of strange how that all fell together.
Bob dropped me off this a.m. and went to Cruz Bay to register for the 8 Tuff Miles on Feb 27. Meeting with Ms. Wells went great. I think we will get on quite well and I am excited to be working again.
On Wed. Bob is going with a friend who works with concrete counter tops and who he did the animal shelter with in STT as Jim has a job there and Bob wants to see the process.
bob's conrete polishing job here has not yet begun.
We tried to open a business checking account the other day for the Concrete Polishing, but our business license "wasn't the right color" The bank said the outline had to be blue. It was black. It's a long story - The government ran out of blue ink. We told the banker that, but she was non-plussed
